Although I grew up in Wisconsin and Massachusetts, I’ve always had a strong tie to Texas due to my love at an early age for the Dallas Cowboys.

After graduating high school I moved to Austin in 2009 to attend my top choice for college the University of Texas. I graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology, majoring in sports management.

Since college, I have worked in sales and data analysis for several digital marketing companies in Austin, and since 2015 I have invested in Austin and San Antonio real estate. I am now in the mortgage industry, and my varied professional experiences of buying homes with both traditional and non-traditional means allow me to point my clients in the right direction no matter what their real estate goal.

Outside of real estate I love playing, watching and discussing football (for extreme Cowboys nerds like me, check out my podcast ‘Cowboys Chat with Schap). As the son of a jazz musician I appreciate a variety of music, and enjoy taking advantage of the live musical capital of the world with my wife Claire. We also enjoy anything outdoors- camping, running and obstacle competitions as well as exploring the many culinary options the city has to offer.
